Projects

In this section you will find information on cross-college sector/subject innovation and development projects. These projects are focused on key sector/subject areas, related to the specific skills needs across Greater Manchester.

Through these projects we are developing high quality innovative resources and approaches to curriculum delivery to meet identified gaps in technologies for learning. Focused on meeting the needs of learners across GM, our collaborative development projects include the use of real world technologies (VR/AR) and gamification,

innovative curriculum delivery models, partnership working with technology providers, employers and third sector organisations and the potential use of technology in a blended learning model.

Inclusion and accessibility is a key consideration in development of all our projects and this is particularly important in areas of the curriculum where we know student access via a handheld device. All projects consider digital inclusion and accessibility and wider consideration of the development of digital skills of teachers and students.
