Hello and welcome to our GMC HQ website. I wanted to take this opportunity to highlight some specific resources that may be beneficial for your teaching practice. I haven’t gone into detail on what each resource is about but if you click on the link it will take you to the resource where you can read the description before looking at it.
Digital platforms
If you are new to using a digital platform for online or blended teaching you may find one of the following resources beneficial depending on which platform you use.
Microsoft Teams
If your organisation uses Microsoft Teams and you are completely new to it these are the first resources that I would recommend you look at before you start:

Zoom
If your organisation uses Zoom and you are completely new to it these are the first resources that I would recommend you look at before you start:

Google Classroom
If your organisation uses Google Classroom and you are completely new to it these are the first resources that I would recommend you look at before you start (please note new resources on google classroom will be coming soon).
Digital tools
If you are becoming more confident with your online teaching and you want some tools to support your delivery or make it more interactive, you may find some of these resources beneficial:

- How to create a mentimeter presentation – Mentimeter is my favourite digital resource to gain information or feedback from students. This Word document will show you how to create an account and a presentation to use with your students.

- Online assessment of learning via the use of Triptico

Curriculum planning
If you are looking for support or ideas in relation to planning your online lessons, then these resources can help:

Inclusivity and SEND
If you are wanting to ensure your lessons are meeting the needs of your students and you are being inclusive of their needs, you may find watching a recording of a live lesson by Aaron Burke from The Manchester College to be useful. To further support your students in making the most of online learning and independent study this document by Anna Kettlewell and Michelle Fletcher from The Manchester College would be a good one to share with your students. How to make the most of online learning and independent study.
If you are wanting your students to complete handwritten work but submit it electronically then this video by Stacey Foy from The Manchester College demonstrating the Microsoft Lens application will help. Handing in hand-written work
Synchronous
