Bolton College and NHS case study
Bolton College is one of the first colleges in the country to run the Digital Higher Technical Qualification (HTQ). Catherine Langstreth, Head of English, Maths and Digital, explains the journey the college has taken to engage local employers in the co-design of the qualification to ensure it mutually benefits employers with vacancies and skills gaps and learners seeking professional employment in the digital sector. Working with the Bolton NHS Foundation Trust, Bolton College has developed a successful course development model that has application for all employer co-designed curriculum.
